A fresh, simple, summery, classic pizza with a broad appeal.
1 pizza dough base
50 mLs tomato sugo
100 g Perfect Italiano Shredded Mozzarella
100 g assorted mini heirloom tomatoes, halved or quartered
20 g fresh basil leaves
18 mLs olive oil
5 g salt
5 g pepper to season
Roll out pizza dough
Evenly spread tomato sugo onto base, followed by Perfect Italiano Shredded Mozzarella.
Bake in pizza oven until base is crisp on the bottom and mozzarella is golden and blistered.
Remove from the oven.
Mix together heirloom tomatoes, picked basil leaves and olive oil, season well.
Portion pizza and place on desired serving plate.
Loosely spoon prepared heirloom tomato salad on top of pre-cut pizza.
